Meni Meen- Biography
Meen Mabior Meen is a hip hop artist from South Sudan. Mabior has been on the front advocating for peace through his music in South Sudan. In August 2016 Mabior was among artists who staged a video launch in Nairobi to support a peace campaign for South Sudan
Meni Meen still holds coozos clan music label soo high and working hard every day producing and releasing music. after the loss of its prominient member.
Cuzos Clan was first formed and born in the year 2000. It is a group made up of cousins hence the word (Cuzoos)in swahili representing Cousins. The group had three members Menimen, Kool Bush$ lil j. The war displaced the group but its members never gave up the passion for music. They traveled through many countries like Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya in search for studios while in refuge.
They first recorded their songs ‘For How Long’, ‘Figure One’ and ‘Satisfied’ at Tuff Audio Studios. They later on recorded at Still Alive Records three other songs: ‘Binia Juba’, ‘Jewothie’ and ‘Mara Batal’. The group has also worked with studios based in Kenya.
