Wing Boi Explains why his collaboration with Rayvanny was flagged on youtube.
In reference to the above the management of Wing Boi would like to give an Explanation on what transpired between us and the management of Rayvanny.
On the 4th. Of September, Wing Boi travelled to Tanzania and was subsequently followed by his manager after an oral agreement with the management of Rayvanny so as to Finalize the agreement in Tanzania.
After arrival, they spent a couple of days where they met with the Artist, His management and finalized on the agreement even voicing the song. The song is a true life story of Wing Bois struggle and Journey.
In Most cases, South Sudanese stars do collaborations with foreign Artists and the stars they collaborate with end up not promoting their collaborations (contents) along with them. With that being considered Wing Boi and his manager requested the featuring Artist to do his part in terms of the advertisement of the song which led to both of them sharing their verses on Tik Tok so their fans can anticipate the release.
We then set a release date which was 1st November 2024, on the evening of 1st November before the release of “ AM BLESS “Rayvanny contacted wing Boi suggesting to voice a different verse, wing Boi requested for a briefing with his team first before a decision of re-voice is made.
After we all consulted, we concluded that it would be best to release it the way it was considering it was when the song got released. It was brought down under copyright claim considering the fact that they uploaded their verse first on tiktok before the official release.
A communication has been made with Rayvanny and he claimed the copyright claim and deleting of our content to his management minus his consultation. We are finalizing the consulting within our team of our final decision.
